A subscription-based collection of hundreds of concert videos, including live streams, by one of the world’s leading orchestras, conducted by chief conductors Simon Rattle, Claudio Abbado, and Herbert von Karajan, along with over 100 guest conductors. This immense and incredibly managed resource offers institutional access - check with your librarian - as well as steep discounts for student subscriptions. Videos are searchable by conductor, composer, soloist, genre, etc., and all recent videos feature incredible sound and video quality. Also included are interviews, documentary films, video portraits of orchestra members, and educational events. This site provided the initial inspiration for conductorsreference.com.

The world’s largest collection of classical music videos, accessible through select libraries or by purchasing an individual membership. Established in 2008, this site features over 2000 videos including concerts, operas, ballets, documentaries, masterclasses, and educational programs by leading artists from both past and present. It also offers access to over 150 live broadcasts annually by leading art music organizations. The New York Times called medici.tv “the closest thing to a classical Netflix.” Its library is fully searchable, and contains a vast array of high-quality video content.
